We’re pleased to share another full load of baled recyclable waste on its way to be re-used, one more step in our ongoing commitment to reducing waste and keeping as much material as possible out of landfill.
This load included:
♻️ Dumpy bags – the bulk bags used to deliver and move materials around site
♻️ Hard plastics – packaging, wrapping and other rigid plastic waste
♻️ Cardboard – packaging from deliveries and supplies
Rather than sending these materials to landfill, we separate, compact and bale them on site so they can be collected and given a second life. Baling makes each collection more efficient too: more material fits on every load, meaning fewer journeys and a lower carbon footprint.
Responsible waste management is an important part of how we operate, and every bale that leaves our site is a small but meaningful contribution to a more sustainable industry.
None of this would be possible without the hard work of our team. Sorting, baling and loading recyclables takes time and effort on top of busy day-to-day work, so a big thank you to everyone involved. Your commitment is making a real difference 🙌
