We are pleased to announce that the Coombefield Quarry Restoration Project is now well underway.
Phase 1 has successfully been clay lined in accordance with our Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Plan, as approved by the Environment Agency. Works are progressing efficiently across all phases, with liner installation scheduled for completion later this year.
This important restoration project will transform the former quarry back to its original landscape, reinstating traditional green fields and characteristic dry-stone walling that reflects the local Portland environment and heritage.
The project represents another significant step in our ongoing commitment to responsible land restoration, ensuring former mineral workings are returned to beneficial use for future generations.
