After more than 20 years of planning, engineering, restoration and environmental stewardship, we are proud to announce that the Broadcroft Quarry inert restoration project is now complete.
Every phase of the restoration has been delivered on schedule and in accordance with the approved restoration plan, marking a significant milestone for both the project and the wider Portland landscape.
While the restoration works have now concluded, our commitment to the site continues. We will undertake the required five-year aftercare programme across each completed phase, ensuring the land establishes successfully and develops into a thriving natural habitat.
Once the aftercare period is complete, the site will be handed back to allow nature to take its course, creating a landscape rich in biodiversity, wildlife and natural habitats for future generations.
This achievement is the result of two decades of dedication, careful planning and collaboration, and we would like to thank everyone involved in helping bring this long-term restoration project to a successful conclusion.
Restoring land today for the benefit of tomorrow.
