What We Recycle
We operate a state-of-the-art Waste Recycling Facility at Coombefield Quarry on the Isle of Portland, where all collected and brought in waste is processed and managed responsibly.
For the past 12 years, our trusted Kiverco recycling plant helped us increase recycling rates and reduce landfill dependency. However, as our operations expanded, we recognised the need for a more advanced solution.
In 2025, we invested in a new site, which required a bespoke Environmental Permit and the construction of a new recycling facility. Finally, after careful consideration, we chose to partner with Blue Machinery Southern to supply and support the new waste recycling plant. We felt the quality of their build and the exceptional level of support made them the right choice to help us take this important step forward.
The new waste plant is equipped with the latest technology to recover even more materials from waste streams, whilst improving efficiency across operations and most importantly further reducing the reliance on landfill disposal.
This investment underlines our commitment to innovation and our long-term ambition to lead the way in sustainable waste management across the county.
We believe that by controlling waste and reducing its environmental impact today, we are securing a cleaner tomorrow.
Our facility is designed to recover and recycle a wide range of materials, including:
- Paper

Soil Recycling
This material is sorted and separated to ensure it’s clean via our McCloskey R155 Screener, we then process it through the screens to provide two different size products in 10 & 20mm topsoil, the larger items 20mm + is then removed and used on our inert restoration project

Rubble, Hardcore, Tiles and Tarmac Waste Recycling
This material is processed via our WRAP protocol to produce a 6F5 Recycled material which is then crushed with our McCloskey J45 into our Screener to produce different sizes and specifications, usually a 6F5, Recycled Type 1, Recycled Drainage Material and Tarmac Chippings.
